For.....Well...the rest of your lives 10:45

Hello all,

Today we had our last day of class. Overall this semester, you have attended:42 classes, read between 780-850 pages of text (not counting reading your peers' texts), wrote between 7000 and 12000 words between the summaries, projects, and "good paragraphs), and shared your points of views on your blogs with a global audience....Oh my goodness!!

However while this quantitive data proves and shows that you have worked hard to contribute in the course, the qualitative aspects of your learning are what truly matter the most as you leave this course. However, there is not a number that I can give you in regards to number of profound thoughts that you had, the percentage of ideas that you created, the rate of expansion of your mind, or the number of people influenced by your ideas. Instead, I can only hope that you have achieved your sense of knowledge and your sense of scholarship.

Rachael-Thanks for your insights into video games and computers. Keep reading!
Lauren-Amazing work! Remember, keep playing the believing game!
Ashley-Excellent work, and I look forward to seeing you on my television reporting the sports!

Stephen-You are a natural born researcher; keep it up.
Caeli-Keep your focus on the water and in the classroom. I sense a many "pickle-dishes" in your future.
Nicholas- You are a very engaged and critical reader. Those critical thought skills will take you far. (I'm thinking politics)
Brooks-I am sorry to see you go, but you will be a success where ever you are!!
Alex O-Amazing research and presentation on sleep. Science may be the place for you.
Alex P-Thanks so much for your insight "issued in that lovely accent of yours."
Richard-Stay in the right lane, and remember your mind is also not too shabby of a vehicle.
Wayne-Thanks so much for your observations and perspectives. You are a true and original thinker!

In closing, I truly appreciate the experience of teaching you. Remember, "one repays a teacher badly, if one remains nothing but a pupil."
