Today we spent some time talking about the puppy. Since we had so few people in attendance, we left class a little early to work on our drafts and to prepare for the rhetorical analysis.
Yes...we had a visit from Contessa Renata. Thanks for being so kind to my puppy.
We also discussed the shift from analyzing our modes to crafting a written rhetorical analysis. Here is a cool link that will show you the overall purpose of this stage of writing. http://nscad.hfxns.org/showcases/pdf/analysis_mclennan.pdf
Remember for each of the four modes, you will need to craft a one to two paragraph analysis (using your completed handout as the structure). You will need to make sure that you have posted this by WEDS of next week.
In addition, you will also want to make sure that you completing your revising and editing work on you project two drafts. You may send your drafts to me (up until 5 pm on Sunday). I would strongly encourage you to submit another draft to me and to maybe have a friend or peer read your text.
