For Friday..8:30-9:20

Hello all,

Today, we had our first day of class. We reviewed the syllabus for the class. Some high points are:

1. We use analysis and persuasion everyday to communicate with others.
2. Creativity and Collaboration are key to generating knowledge.
3. Technology can augment the various "texts" we produce and critique.

As the syllabus exits as a "contract" between myself and you all, I would like to make sure that it is clear and focused. As such, I would like you all to create three comments on the current draft (supportive comments, critical comments, holistic comments, etc). Please bring these comments to class on Friday.

We also spent some time exploring moodle (where all our documents and grades will be kept). We all created a blog. Please make sure that you have posted your blog on the moodle area. If you note, your blog is now listed on the class blog.
